SAR Standby - Old Dominion 100

Notes: TOVSAR assisted TROT-SAR (mounted SAR team) at the Old Dominion 100-mile horse endurance event in Warren and Shenandoah Counties, VA. We stood by in case a rider was lost or injured and needed evacuation. We assisted in the brief search for one rider at 2200 hours on 10 June but the rider was quickly found by the mounted "drag" riders and escorted back to the nearest rest stop.

While we were standing by here, we were also placed on standby for the missing hikers in Shenandoah County.
