Notes: While 9 members of TOVSAR were at the Northern VA 4-H Center as part of statewide SAR training, a woman there reported that her husband was overdue hiking the Appalachian Trail to the center from Sky Meadow State Park, about 13 miles north. Teams were sent to points along the trail to intercept him and look for him. TOVSAR's radios and mapping software were requested from our HQ. At 1931 hours, the subject arrived at the Northern VA 4-H Center on his own and was reunited with his wife.
