Notes: The subject was hunting turkey on private land near the Henry County border. He apparently died suddenly of natural causes prior to noon on May 1. A search was begun the evening of May 1, and TOVSAR assisted with ground personnel and bloodhounds on May 2-3. The subject was found by a cadaver-trained dog on May 3. This was the first search involving TOVSAR bloodhounds Bernie and Emma, handled by Mike and Cindy Andrews. They were helpful in narrowing the field of the search. Four members responded to this search while another search was in process in Hopewell, Virginia.
