 On Saturday, March 2, Top of Virginia Search and Rescue Group (TOVSAR) assisted Town of Front Royal Police in search for a missing twenty-four year old mother of two. Eleven members of the Group participated in the search which eventually included more than 45 search & rescue personnel coming from as far as Richmond, Rockingham, Augusta and Fairfax counties.  Members of Dogs East, Blue and Gray Search Dogs, and K-9 Alert, a search groups composed of handlers and air sent dogs also participated.   A big assist came from a bloodhound man trailing team which gave the search management a clue that the missing women had left the community.  The search was organized at 7AM Saturday and was successfully concluded at 6:05 PM that evening with the discovery of the missing woman safe in Prince William County.

   TOVSAR is an all  volunteer Search & Rescue Group who respond to assist law enforcement in searches for missing people.  The members of TOVSAR live in Winchester, Clark, Frederick, Shenandoah and Warren Counties.  TOVSAR responds anywhere in Virginia and West Virginia when called by the Virginia Department of Emergency Management.  For more information visit  our web site:  www.tovsar.org.
